Arctic Youth Conference in Tromsø, Norway

Under the Norwegian Chairship of the Arctic Council, the first Arctic Youth Conference was organised in Tromsø from 24-26 of January, 2025, bringing together 300 youth from all over the Arctic.

 ICR/WRH NOMAD Indigenous FoodLab was one of the venues for the meetings and food evennts during the conference.

 The Arctic Youth Conference aims to empower Arctic youth, enhance their participation, increase Arctic literacy, celebrate diversity, and serve as a platform to realize Chairship priorities. It also seeks to shape actionable recommendations that contribute to the broader Arctic Council agenda.
