Arendal Week

Arendal Week is the largest political gathering in Norway held annually since 2012.

NOMAD Indigenous Foodlab was brought for the first time to Arendal Week in August 2022, and since then became a part of this annual festival also in 2023 and 2024.

Being placed at the top in Fløyheia our Foodlab hosted several sessions of the Arendal Week’s program, food events with Arctic Indigenous cuisine and lávvu dialogue on the Norwegian Leadership in the Arctic Council. NOMAD Indigenous Foodlab was a hub for Indigenous Youth of the Circumpolar North training program in 2022 and 2023, gathering young leaders from Greenland, US (Alaska), Canada, Norway, Mongolia, and Sweden.

NOMAD Indigenous Foodlab project will be a part of Arendal Week in August 11-15 of 2025.
