Jokkmokk Market, Sweden

In February 2023 the NOMAD Indigenous FoodLab was part of the Jokkmokk Winter market and a place for celebration the Sáminuorra’s 60 years since its establishment. Sáminuorra is the Sámi national youth organization in the Swedish part of Sápmi.

The event was initiated by Sara-Elvira Kuhmunen, the president of Sáminuorra and a Vice-chair of the Board to the World Reindeer Herders.
