Varangerbotn Market, Norway

At the initiative of the Chair of WRH Mrs. Inger Anita Smuk, the Food Lab was brought to Varangerbotn—a small village in Nesseby Municipality renowned for its deep-rooted Sámi culture, reindeer herding, and fishing traditions. As part of the project, young Sámi culinary students from the Sámi high school and the reindeer herding school in Guovdageaidnu prepared sustainable Indigenous menus for hundreds of participants.
